Biography

C.A.Halpin, AKA The Outside World, has lived and worked as an artist, curator and gallery director in Hackney east London since 1994. She works across a broad spectrum of media from drawing, writing, painting, illustration, performance and sculpture.  She works on large scale friezes that consist of many smaller elements that form the whole,

The Outside World is the gallery that she established in Shoreditch in 1996, where she collaborated with established, emerging and Outsider Artists.  The Outside World AllStars is the group name for her collaborative work, with an ever changing line up of artists, musicians and dancers.
